I dreamed I went to work at a Best Buy by Mom’s work. She’d drop me off. I made $8 an hour, no where close to enough to live on. The managers tried to use intimidation on employees and talked down to them. I realized it just didn’t have an effect on me like in the past. I felt like I needed more humility and gratefulness, but later I realized that I wasn’t being proud at all, I just wasn’t completely cowering to them being mean. That is taking advantage of a leadership role. I think it was okay. Maybe I just realize I want better for myself in that dream.
This dream appears to reflect feelings of inadequacy and a striving for something better in your waking life. The setting of your workplace at Best Buy by your mom's work may symbolize a sense of being under someone else's influence or authority. The low wage of $8 an hour may suggest a feeling of being undervalued or underappreciated in your current situation.
The managers using intimidation tactics and talking down to employees could represent feelings of powerlessness or mistreatment in your waking life. Your lack of reaction to their behavior may indicate a growing resilience or a desire to assert yourself more confidently in challenging situations.
The themes of humility, gratefulness, and a desire for improvement suggest a longing for personal growth and a recognition of your own self-worth. Overall, this dream may be prompting you to reflect on your sense of worth, boundaries, and aspirations, and encouraging you to strive for a more fulfilling path in your waking life.
